Chelsea Interested in German Defender

Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing German defender, Maximilian Maier, according to sources close to the club. Maier, currently playing for Bundesliga side, Fortuna Dusseldorf, has impressed with his defensive capabilities and is seen as a potential long-term solution to Tuchel’s defensive woes.

The Blues have been struggling to find a consistent defensive partnership, and Maier's arrival could provide much-needed stability. Initial reports suggest Chelsea are willing to offer around £30 million for the 23-year-old.
