Introduction
Welcome to Microsoft Azure ("Service"). These terms of service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms are an agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and Microsoft Corporation ("Microsoft," "we," "us," or "our"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
1. Use of the Service
1.1. Access and Use
Subject to these Terms, Microsoft grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service. You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
- Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the Service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Service.
- Use the Service to transmit any unlawful, harassing, libelous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material.
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations in connection with your use of the Service.
1.2. Your Content
You retain ownership of your content. You grant Microsoft a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute your content as necessary to provide and improve the Service. You are solely responsible for your content and any consequences of posting or publishing it.
2. Payments and Billing
If you use paid features of the Service, you agree to the pricing and payment terms applicable to those features. Microsoft may update pricing and payment terms from time to time. You are responsible for all applicable taxes.
Billing Cycle Example
For example, if you subscribe to a monthly plan, your credit card will be charged each month on the anniversary of your subscription date. You can view your billing history and manage your payment methods in your account settings.

3. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Service, including but not limited to software, documentation, and trade dress, are owned by Microsoft or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use any Microsoft trademarks, service marks, logos, or other intellectual property.
4. Privacy
Microsoft's use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Statement. By using the Service, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Statement.
5. Termination
Microsoft may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your use of the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Microsoft disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Microsoft does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Microsoft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
7. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to the change taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located within the State of Washington.
