Best Airflow Case 2024

Looking for the best airflow case for my new build!

JD

Hey everyone,

I'm building a new PC and focusing heavily on keeping temperatures low. I've been doing some research but I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the options. I'm looking for a case that prioritizes airflow above all else, while still looking decent and being reasonably easy to build in. My components will likely include a high-end CPU and GPU, so good ventilation is crucial.

What are your top recommendations for the best airflow cases in 2024? I'm open to different sizes (ATX, Micro-ATX) but would prefer ATX for more room.

Thanks in advance!

SK

Hey John,

Great question! For raw airflow, you really can't go wrong with something like the Lian Li Lancool III or the Fractal Design Meshify 2 series. Both have massive mesh front panels that allow for excellent intake.

The Lancool III often comes with more fans out of the box, which is a plus. The Meshify 2 is a bit more modular and offers a really clean aesthetic.

Another strong contender is the Corsair 4000D Airflow. It's a bit more compact but still provides great airflow and is super easy to build in.

Consider what kind of fan setup you're aiming for (all intake, or a mix) and radiator support if you plan on liquid cooling in the future.

I second the Fractal Design Meshify 2. I have the XL version and it's incredible. The build quality is top-notch, and the amount of air you can push through it is insane. Plus, it looks fantastic.

For budget-friendly airflow, the Phanteks G500A is also a fantastic option. It's very similar to the Lancool series in terms of design and airflow potential.

If you're going for a smaller build (Micro-ATX), check out the Cooler Master NR400. It's a super popular budget case with a mesh front and surprisingly good airflow for its size.
