AMD Ryzen 8000 Series Rumors

Hey everyone, I've been hearing some whispers about AMD's upcoming 8000 series. Rumor has it they'll be moving to a 3nm process and might introduce a new "Zen 5" architecture with higher IPC.

Anyone have any credible sources or leaks?

According to a leak from a supply chain source, the 8000 series will feature up to 24 cores for the flagship model, and will be compatible with the existing AM5 socket.

Interesting! If they keep the AM5 socket, we might see a smoother upgrade path for existing owners. I'm curious about power consumption though – 3nm should help, but 24 cores could be a beast.
