Hey everyone! I finally finished my new budget-friendly gaming PC build and wanted to share it with the community. The goal was to hit a great price-to-performance ratio without sacrificing too much, and I think I've succeeded!
Core Components:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (Found a great deal!)
- Motherboard: MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI
- RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX
- Storage: 1TB NVMe SSD (Crucial P3) + 2TB HDD
- Power Supply: 650W 80+ Gold Corsair RM650x
- Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow

Performance & Impressions:
This build has been a dream to put together and even better to game on. I'm consistently getting over 60 FPS in AAA titles at 1440p with high settings, which is exactly what I was aiming for. The Ryzen 5 5600X is an absolute beast for its price, and the RTX 3060 Ti handles everything I throw at it. The Corsair 4000D Airflow case provides excellent thermals, keeping everything nice and cool.
Cable management was a bit tricky but worth the effort for the clean look and airflow. Here's a shot of the inside:

Future Upgrades:
For now, this build is perfect for my needs. Down the line, I might consider upgrading the GPU to a 40-series card or adding more RAM if I start doing more demanding video editing. But for pure gaming, it's solid.
Let me know your thoughts and if you have any questions about specific parts or the build process!

Wow, that looks amazing! I'm also planning a budget build and the 3060 Ti is on my radar. How much did you end up spending on the GPU?
Great build! The 4000D is such a good looking case. Did you have any trouble fitting everything in, especially the GPU?
@SarahMiller I managed to snag the 3060 Ti for $380! Was a bit of a lucky find. And @TechKid, the GPU fit perfectly with plenty of room to spare in the 4000D.
This is incredibly helpful, thank you for sharing! I've been stuck between a few CPU options, but the 5600X seems like a strong contender for my budget build now.
