Hey everyone,

Just installed the latest Pixel Feature Drop and I'm a bit surprised by some of the changes. While the new camera features are great, I've noticed a significant shift in the UI for the quick settings panel. It feels less intuitive now, and I'm having trouble finding certain toggles. Has anyone else experienced this? Or am I just missing something obvious?

I'm running this on my Pixel 7 Pro. What are your initial impressions?

Also, I've been experimenting with the new At a Glance widget updates, and while they look slick, the battery drain seems a little higher than usual. Anyone else seeing this?

Hey TechGuru1988,

I totally agree about the quick settings panel! It's a bit of a mess now. I found that if you long-press the Wi-Fi icon, it takes you directly to the Wi-Fi settings, which is a small workaround, but still not ideal. It feels like they redesigned it just for the sake of it. My Pixel 6a seems to be handling it okay performance-wise, but the UI change is definitely jarring.

Regarding the At a Glance widget, I haven't noticed any significant battery drain yet. It might be an app-specific issue or something related to your background processes. Have you tried clearing the cache for the Pixel Services app?

I'm on a Pixel 7 and experiencing the same quick settings issue. It's really frustrating. I've tried disabling and re-enabling the System UI Tuner (though I know it's officially deprecated), but it doesn't seem to help with this specific change.

On the battery front, I *think* I might be seeing a slight dip, but it's hard to say for sure. Could be placebo or just normal variation. I'm keeping an eye on my battery stats over the next few days.

One thing I *am* enjoying is the improved Recorder app transcription accuracy. It's picking up nuances much better now, especially with multiple speakers.

Here's a snippet of the improved transcription:

[00:01:15] Speaker 1: This new feature drop is quite interesting.
[00:01:18] Speaker 2: Indeed, but the quick settings...
[00:01:20] Speaker 3: ...is a bit of a step back, I feel.
