Hi everyone, I'm experiencing significant lag when using the camera in portrait mode. It's particularly bad when taking photos with many people. Has anyone else found a solution? I've tried restarting my iPhone, but it doesn't seem to help.

I had the same problem! I found that clearing the camera app's cache fixed it. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage and tap on the Camera app. Then tap "Delete All Content and Settings". Let me know if that works for you.
