Thread 456 - "Building a Silent PC"

User123

Hey everyone, I'm looking to build a PC that's as quiet as possible. I'm mainly gaming, but I also do some video editing. Any recommendations for components that are known for being quiet?

I'm particularly interested in CPU coolers, fans, and maybe even a silent motherboard.

For a silent build, you should definitely look into the Noctua NH-D15 CPU cooler. It's incredibly quiet and performs great. Also, consider a case with good airflow to keep temperatures down. Corsair 4000D Airflow is a popular choice.

For fans, Noctua NF-A14s are a fantastic option.

Yeah, the Noctua cooler is a solid recommendation. I've also heard good things about the Be Quiet! Dark Base Pro 4. It has excellent sound dampening.
