Hey everyone, after flashing the latest BIOS on my i7-12700K, the temperatures jumped to 95°C under idle load. I’ve reinstalled the cooler and reapplied thermal paste, but nothing changes. Any ideas?

Check the BIOS settings for the fan curve. Some newer BIOS releases reset fan profiles to a default that may be too quiet. Set it to “Performance” or create a custom curve.

I ran the same BIOS version on a similar build and noticed the voltage offset was set to +0.05V by default. That can cause higher temps. Reset the Vcore offset to 0 or manually tune it down a little.
