Best Lightweight Skins for Kodi

Hey everyone!

I'm looking to optimize my Kodi setup for speed and performance, especially on older hardware or Raspberry Pi devices. One of the biggest culprits for sluggishness can be a heavy skin. I'm on the hunt for the best lightweight skins that still offer a good user experience and customization options without bogging down the system.

I've tried a few in the past, but I'm always interested in new recommendations. What are your favorites? I'm particularly interested in skins that:

  • Have minimal resource usage (CPU, RAM).
  • Load quickly.
  • Are still visually appealing and easy to navigate.
  • Offer some basic customization without becoming overly complex.

Some skins I've heard good things about are:

Aeon Nox MQ Lite

This is a popular choice that's known for being a lighter version of the full Aeon Nox. It's quite feature-rich but aims to be more performance-friendly.

Confluence (Default Kodi Skin)

While it's the default, it's worth mentioning as it's designed to be efficient. It might not be the most modern-looking, but it's a solid benchmark for lightweight performance.

Arctic Zephyr 2 (AZ2)

This skin has a clean, minimalist aesthetic and is often praised for its performance. It's highly configurable and works well on less powerful devices.

Are there any hidden gems I'm missing? What skins do you use for a smooth, fast Kodi experience?

Looking forward to your suggestions!

Thanks!
