Just wanted to share what I've been up to. This weekend, I finally tackled that sourdough starter I've been meaning to make for ages. It was a fun, albeit a little messy, process. I'm hoping to bake my first loaf by tomorrow!
What are your weekend adventures? Any new hobbies you've picked up?
That sourdough sounds awesome, JaneDoe! My weekend has been pretty chill. Spent most of Saturday gardening. Managed to plant some new herbs and a small tomato plant. It's so rewarding to see things grow.
I also got into building some LEGO sets I've had for a while. Super relaxing way to unwind.
Sourdough and LEGOs, great choices! I've been trying to get back into drawing. Bought some new charcoal pencils and a sketchpad. It's a slow process, but I'm enjoying rediscovering my creative side.
And for some active fun, I went for a long hike yesterday. The weather was perfect!
Hey Jane, good luck with the sourdough! My weekend was all about woodworking. I'm building a small bookshelf for my living room. Lots of sanding and careful measuring involved!
It's satisfying to make something tangible. Anyone else into DIY projects?
