Welcome to the Azure Arc terms and conditions page, provided for the MSDN Community resources related to Windows and Azure Hybrid Arc. Please read these terms carefully before using any part of the services or content.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Azure Arc resources, documentation, community forums, and related materials (collectively, the "Resources") made available through the MSDN Community platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Resources.

2. Use of Resources

The Resources are provided for informational and community support purposes. You may use the Resources to learn about, discuss, and troubleshoot Azure Arc. You agree not to:

  • Use the Resources for any illegal purpose.
  • Upload, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
  • Upload, post, or transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," or any other form of solicitation.
  • Upload, post, or transmit any material that contains viruses, trojan horses, worms, or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.

3. Intellectual Property

All content, software, and technology underlying the Resources are the property of Microsoft Corporation or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the Resources without explicit written permission from Microsoft.

4. Community Guidelines

When participating in community forums or discussions related to Azure Arc, you must adhere to the Microsoft Community Standards, which are incorporated by reference. Be respectful, constructive, and contribute positively to the community.

5. Disclaimers

The Resources are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Microsoft disclaims all warranties, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Microsoft does not warrant that the Resources will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Microsoft, its affiliates, or its suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Resources; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Resources; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

7. Modifications to Terms

Microsoft reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Resources after any such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to regularly review these Terms for any changes.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in King County, Washington.
