Before installing, ensure you download software from trusted sources. Look for official websites or the Microsoft Store.
You can often find download links on the software vendor's official page. Be cautious of third-party download sites.
Locate the downloaded installer file (usually an .exe
or .msi
file) and double-click it to run.
Follow the on-screen prompts. This typically involves accepting license agreements, choosing an installation location, and selecting components.

To uninstall software, go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
Find the application in the list, click on it, and select Uninstall.
Alternatively, you can use the classic Control Panel: Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
Click the folder icon on your taskbar or press Windows Key + E to open File Explorer.
Use the navigation pane on the left to browse through drives (C:, D:, etc.) and common folders like Documents, Pictures, and Downloads.
You can also type paths directly into the address bar.

To create a new folder, right-click in an empty space within a folder and select New > Folder.
Use Cut, Copy, and Paste (Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V) to move or duplicate files and folders. Drag-and-drop is also an option.
Use the search bar at the top right of File Explorer to find files and folders by name or content.
Go to Settings > Network & Internet.
Under the Wi-Fi section, toggle Wi-Fi on if it's off. Click Show available networks, select your network, and click Connect.
You will be prompted to enter your Wi-Fi password.
To view your current IP address and other network details, click on your active network connection (e.g., Wi-Fi or Ethernet) and then click Properties.
For advanced configuration, you might need to access the Network and Sharing Center via the Control Panel.
Navigate to Settings > Accounts > Family & other users.
Under "Other users", click Add someone else to this PC. You can then choose to sign in with a Microsoft account or create a local account.
Select an existing user from the list and click Change account type to switch between Standard User and Administrator privileges.
Caution: Granting administrator privileges should be done with care, as it allows users to make system-wide changes.
