1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN). By accessing or using the MSDN website, services, and content, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the MSDN.

2. Use of Services

MSDN provides a platform for developers to access information, tools, samples, and support related to Microsoft technologies. You may use the MSDN services solely for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.

• You may not use the MSDN services in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair any Microsoft server or the network(s) connected to any Microsoft server.
• You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any aspect of the MSDN services, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to any Microsoft server, through hacking, password mining, or any other means.
• You agree not to use any automated means, including but not limited to agents, robots, or scrapers, to access or collect content from the MSDN, unless expressly permitted by Microsoft in writing.

3. Content and Intellectual Property

All content available through MSDN, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and code snippets, is the property of Microsoft or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may download and use sample code provided on MSDN for your development purposes, subject to any specific licenses accompanying such code. Unless otherwise specified, you may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or transmit any content from MSDN without prior written permission from Microsoft.

4. User Conduct

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The MSDN services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Microsoft disclaims all warranties, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Microsoft be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the MSDN services.

8. Modifications to Terms

Microsoft reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on the MSDN website. Your continued use of the MSDN services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
