Re: Topic About Latest GPU Accessories

Hey everyone, just saw the announcement for the new XYZ RGB cooler. Looks like it could really help with thermals on my RTX 4090. Anyone else planning to pick one up? I'm wondering about the noise levels compared to my current setup.

I've been doing some research and it seems like the XYZ cooler boasts a new fan design that's supposedly quieter and more efficient. The RGB integration is also a nice touch, although not a primary concern for me. My main worry is if it's compatible with all standard PCIe slots and if installation is straightforward.

Has anyone had experience with XYZ products before? What's their build quality generally like?

@TechEnthusiast123, I've had a few XYZ accessories in the past, and their build quality is usually top-notch. They tend to be a bit pricier, but you get what you pay for. Regarding the new cooler, I'm also very interested. The improved airflow design sounds promising. I'm curious about the power draw, though – some high-end coolers can be quite demanding.

I'm particularly keen to see independent benchmarks for noise levels. The marketing claims can sometimes be a bit embellished. If it can keep my 4080 under 60°C at load while staying below 30 dBA, that would be a huge win.

Just wanted to add that if you're looking for alternatives, the "CoolMax Pro" from another brand also just launched and is getting rave reviews for its silent operation. It's a bit bulkier, but the performance is reportedly incredible.

I'm building a new rig soon and was debating between the XYZ and CoolMax. Might have to wait for more detailed comparisons.
