Looking to build a virtually silent PC. What are the best cases on the market right now known for their noise dampening capabilities? Considering airflow as well, of course. Any specific brands or models you'd recommend? Let's discuss!
Just finished my new build with an i9-13900K and RTX 4090. I used a popular mid-tower case and a 240mm AIO. While temps are good, the noise from the fans (CPU, GPU, case) is quite audible even at idle. What could be the main culprits? Are my fan curves set incorrectly, or is the case not ideal for noise?
I've seen some guides on adding acoustic foam or other dampening materials to PC cases. Has anyone here tried this? What materials worked best, and what were the results in terms of noise reduction vs. potential heat impact? Sharing your experiences would be great!
I'm new to PC building and trying to identify noise sources. I hear a whirring/spinning sound that I assume is the case fans, but sometimes I hear a subtle hum or vibration. Could that be the AIO pump? How do you usually differentiate these sounds?
