Hey everyone,

I'm building a new PC and prioritizing silence above all else. I've chosen some very quiet components (CPU cooler, GPU, PSU), but I'm really struggling to pick a case that will offer excellent airflow while keeping noise to an absolute minimum. I've heard conflicting advice about solid front panels versus mesh panels for noise.

Current Considerations:

  • Fractal Design Define 7: Known for silence, but is the airflow sufficient for a beefy GPU that can get warm?
  • Lian Li Lancool III: Great airflow, but how does it perform acoustically?
  • Phanteks P500A: Mesh front, good airflow, but might be noisier than desired?

Does anyone have personal experience with these or other cases regarding noise levels and airflow balance? I'm aiming for a build that can handle gaming and some light productivity without sounding like a jet engine.

Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
