Hey everyone!

I finally finished my dream PC build, focusing on a clean, minimalist aesthetic. I wanted a mid-tower that was easy to build in and had good airflow, and I ended up going with the Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact.

The most time-consuming part was definitely the custom cable sleeving. I went with a black and white theme to match the components. Here's a quick rundown of the specs:

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-13700K
  • CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 Chromax.black
  • Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-A GAMING WIFI
  • RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6000 CL30
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti
  • SSD: Samsung 980 Pro 2TB NVMe
  • PSU: Corsair RM850x
  • Case: Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact

Here are some shots of the final build:

I'm really happy with how it turned out. The cable management is super clean thanks to the case's design and the custom cables.

Let me know what you think!

Wow, that looks absolutely stunning! The cable management is next level. What kind of tools did you use for sleeving?

Thanks, GamerDude! For sleeving, I used a basic cable crimper, a heat gun, and some good quality paracord sleeves from a popular online retailer. The hardest part is patience and getting the tension right. I followed a few YouTube tutorials which were super helpful.

Really clean build. The contrast between the black components and the white accents on the motherboard and GPU is perfect. Have you considered adding some subtle RGB lighting to highlight the components without being over the top?

Thanks ArtisanBuilds! I actually thought about RGB, but decided to keep it intentionally subdued this time. I have some subtle RGB on the RAM, but I usually keep it off or on a very dim white/ice blue. I prefer the clean look without too much color distraction.

Looks great! How are the temps on that Meshify 2 Compact with the D15? I'm thinking of getting one myself.
