Clean and Compact: My Dan A4-H2O Build

Hey everyone! After months of planning and waiting for parts, I'm finally ready to share my Dan A4-H2O build. I aimed for a minimalist aesthetic, focusing on clean cable management and efficient cooling within this incredibly compact case.

The goal was to keep the exterior as uncluttered as possible, letting the components speak for themselves. The internal layout was challenging but rewarding, especially fitting the 240mm AIO.

Key Components:

  • Case: Dan Cases A4-H2O
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
  • CPU Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240
  • Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX X570-I GAMING
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti
  • RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600MHz
  • Storage: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB NVMe SSD
  • PSU: Corsair SF750 Platinum

Temperatures have been surprisingly good, with the CPU hovering around 65-70°C under load and the GPU staying below 75°C. Cable management was the biggest hurdle, but using custom length cables and plenty of zip ties made it manageable.

Let me know what you think! Happy to answer any questions about the build process or component choices.

Re: Dan A4-H2O Minimalist Build

Looks absolutely stunning! The AIO placement is spot on. What did you do for the GPU exhaust ventilation? Did you add any extra fans?

Re: Dan A4-H2O Minimalist Build

Thanks! For the GPU exhaust, I'm relying on the stock fan shroud and the case's natural ventilation. The A4-H2O has good mesh panels. I haven't added any extra GPU fans, as temperatures are well within acceptable limits. The RTX 3080 Ti manages airflow pretty effectively on its own in this case.

Re: Dan A4-H2O Minimalist Build

Wow, that RTX 3080 Ti is a beast in there! How was the clearance for the AIO tubes? I'm planning a similar build and heard it can be tight.
