I'm trying to benchmark CPU performance across Windows 10 and Ubuntu 20.04. I'm using Geekbench 5 for my tests. I'm seeing some significant differences, especially in the multi-core performance. I'm curious if anyone else has experienced similar results and what their methodology was. Any tips on how to minimize OS interference during the benchmark would be greatly appreciated!

I've been running a series of benchmarks on my new RTX 3080 and RX 6800 XT. The RTX 3080 consistently outperforms the RX 6800 XT in most games, but I'm wondering if the differences are entirely attributable to driver optimizations or if there are fundamental architectural advantages. I've used 3DMark and Unigine Heaven for my testing.

I'm using CPU-Z to gather detailed information about my CPU's temperature and clock speeds. I'm trying to correlate these readings with performance metrics. I've noticed a noticeable temperature increase during sustained workloads. Any advice on cooling solutions?
