On-Premises Installation Guide
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing your chosen development tool on your on-premises infrastructure. Ensure you have reviewed the Prerequisites before proceeding.
Step 1: Download the Installer
Obtain the latest installation package from the official Microsoft download center. Navigate to the Download Center and select the appropriate version for your operating system.
The download typically includes:
- An executable installer file (e.g.,
setup.exe) - Necessary supporting files and libraries
- Documentation links
Step 2: Prepare the Installation Environment
Before running the installer, ensure the following:
- Sufficient Disk Space: Verify that the target drive has at least 50 GB of free space.
- Administrator Privileges: The installation process requires administrator rights. Log in with an account that has these privileges.
- Network Connectivity: Ensure stable network connectivity if the installation requires downloading additional components.
Step 3: Run the Installer
