Hey everyone,
I've been experiencing unusually fast battery drain on my Pixel 7 Pro for the past week. It seems like no matter what I do, my battery is almost dead by mid-afternoon, which is not normal for me. I've tried restarting my phone, checking for app updates, and even gone through the battery usage stats, but I can't pinpoint the culprit.
Here's what I've observed from battery usage:
- Screen: ~20%
- Android System: ~15%
- Cellular Standby: ~10%
- Various apps (social media, games): ~25% total
I've already:
- Disabled background activity for non-essential apps.
- Turned down screen brightness and set adaptive brightness.
- Checked location services and reduced accuracy.
Is anyone else facing this issue? Any tips or tricks you've found to diagnose or fix significant battery drain?
Thanks in advance!
